Role:

Performs comprehensive non-invasive transthoracic echocardiographic studies and assists with various echocardiographic procedures.

Responsibilities:

Conducts transthoracic echocardiograms and supports procedures like transesophageal, intraoperative, contrast, and fetal echocardiography. Provides data on cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics to aid cardiologists in diagnosing congenital heart defects. Operates specialized equipment, assesses patient status, and adapts to age-specific needs. Works independently, participates in on-call rotations, and may work at remote clinics. Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in an allied health field; Bachelor's preferred.

ARDMS RDCS

certification in pediatrics within two years; credential in echocardiography from ARDMS or CCI required. Experience in clinical echocardiography and healthcare is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office; Basic Life Support certification required.

Skills:

Strong technical, patient assessment, and communication skills, with ability to work independently and in remote settings.
