Full Job Description Dental Treatment Coordinator Pay Range:
$25-$32 per hour, depending on experience

Full-Time, some Saturdays required About the Position We are looking for a Dental Treatment Coordinator who is confident, organized, and enjoys working directly with patients. The Treatment Coordinator will play an important role in helping patients understand their recommended dental care, making financial arrangements, and coordinating their treatment from the initial consultation through completion. This position is also responsible for accurately collecting and processing patient payments , including cash and other forms of payment. Attention to detail, honesty, and accountability are essential when handling patient financial transactions. Key Responsibilities Meet with patients to discuss and review recommended treatment. Clearly explain treatment plans, procedures, and next steps. Review insurance benefits and explain estimated patient responsibility. Present payment options and available financing solutions. Collect and process patient payments, including cash, checks, and credit/debit card payments. Accurately post payments to patient accounts and provide receipts. Follow established procedures for cash handling, payment documentation, and daily deposits. Follow up with patients who have unscheduled or incomplete treatment. Coordinate treatment appointments and help maintain an efficient schedule. Communicate with doctors and clinical staff regarding treatment plans and patient needs. Maintain accurate financial and patient records. Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality. Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in a dental office required. Previous Treatment Coordinator experience preferred. Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, insurance, and treatment planning. Experience handling patient payments and cash preferred. Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Reliable, trustworthy, and accountable when handling financial transactions. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced dental office. Experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar software is a plus.
