As our Specialty Treatment Coordinator, you will be instrumental in helping patients understand their treatment needs and feel empowered to move forward with care. Your ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and guide patients through financial and insurance considerations will directly contribute to transforming lives and supporting the continued growth of our practice. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide an exceptional first impression. Build lasting relationships with patients through personalized communication and follow-up. Present and explain specialty treatment plans for Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Oral Surgery in a clear, compassionate, and confident manner. Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, benefits, and expected outcomes. Review insurance benefits, financing options, and payment arrangements. Coordinate specialty referrals and schedule consultations and treatment appointments. Proactively follow up with patients who have outstanding treatment recommendations. Collaborate closely with doctors, hygienists, specialists, and clinical teams to deliver outstanding patient care. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Monitor specialty schedules to maximize production opportunities and minimize openings. Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including case acceptance, patient retention, referral conversion, and production goals. Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout every step of their treatment journey. Contribute to practice growth while maintaining an exceptional patient experience. Experience with Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, or other specialty dental services. Knowledge of dental insurance verification and treatment financing. Experience using dental practice management software. Track record of achieving case acceptance, production, or patient engagement goals.
