Monitor aging insurance balances and work proactively to resolve unpaid claims. Welcome patients warmly and provide a professional, reassuring front desk experience. Follow up with referred patients, cancelled patients, and patients who have not yet scheduled. Collect patient balances, copayments, and deposits according to practice guidelines. Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance information, referral documents, and communication notes. Support check-in and check-out workflows as needed. Partner with doctors, clinical team members, and practice leadership to ensure smooth patient handoffs. Provide coverage and operational support across multiple practice locations. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA and compliance requirements. Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team culture. Qualifications Dental insurance and front desk experience required. Experience in an endodontic, dental specialty, or multi-location practice is a plus. Strong understanding of dental terminology, insurance verification, claims, and patient financial responsibilities. Comfortable communicating with patients about treatment costs and insurance limitations. Warm, professional, and confident patient communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and willingness to work at multiple practice locations. Comfortable learning and working in dental practice-management systems and insurance portals. Dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership through resolution. High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is not required. What Success Looks Like Insurance benefits are verified accurately and before the patient arrives. Patients understand their estimated financial responsibility and feel confident moving forward with care. Claims are submitted cleanly and followed through until resolution.
