Treatment Coordinator Groth Dental Bingham Farms, MI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Continuing education credits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Patient question and concern management Dental receptionist Full Job Description Treatment Coordinator Cosmetic & Restorative Focus
Same-Day Conversion
High-End Private Practice Full-Time
5+ Years Dental Experience Required The best treatment coordinators don't feel like salespeople.
They feel like the most trusted person in the room — and patients say yes because they genuinely believe in what's being recommended. Groth Dental is a cosmetic and whole-health general dentistry practice growing into a two-doctor model. Dr. Groth has been recognized by Hour Magazine as a Top Dentist for seven consecutive years and holds a focus on complex restorative and cosmetic care at the highest level. We diagnose exceptional dentistry every day. We need someone exceptional to close it. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You will present every treatment plan that comes out of this practice — for both providers — and your case acceptance rate will be the number that defines your performance. If you are energized by accountability and thrive on helping patients say yes to care that genuinely changes their lives, this is the job. We are building a new treatment coordination model at Groth Dental — the systems, the scripts, the follow-up cadence, and the financial conversation framework are all being designed now. The right person for this role wants to be part of that build, not just inherit a process someone else created. If you have strong instincts about what great case presentation looks like and want a practice that will actually let you implement them, we want to talk. What This Role Owns Every treatment plan presentation. Both providers, every patient, every time. No patient with a diagnosed treatment plan leaves without sitting down with you first. The financial conversation. You walk patients through their insurance estimate, out-of-pocket costs, and all financing options including CareCredit and Sunbit. You make it easy to say yes. Same-day conversion. Before any patient with a treatment plan walks out, you make a genuine attempt to get them started today. You check the schedule, you make the ask, every time. High-production doctor scheduling. Crowns, cosmetic cases, Invisalign, complex restorative — you own the scheduling of these procedures. These are the production blocks that protect the practice's daily revenue target. The pending treatment list. Patients who don't schedule go on the list. You follow up at one week, one month, and three months. This list gets worked every week without exception. AR follow-up across the practice. You own accounts receivable follow-up for outstanding patient balances. Nothing sits at 60 days without action. Pre-authorization management. You know what every procedure requires, you initiate it in advance, and you never let a clinical delay happen because paperwork wasn't handled. What This Job Offers A practice worth representing. The dentistry here is exceptional. Presenting treatment at Groth Dental means advocating for care patients genuinely need from a doctor they genuinely trust. A private consultation space. You will not be presenting $10,000 treatment plans at the front desk. You have a proper space to have a real conversation. Input into how the role is built. We are designing this function from scratch. Your instincts and experience will directly shape how treatment coordination works at this practice going forward. A growing platform. Two-doctor practice, expanding facility, cosmetic and restorative focus. The production base you'll be working from is significant and growing. Full benefits. Health insurance, PTO, 401(k) with safe harbor, CE reimbursement, and a team with 8+ years average tenure. Who We're Looking For Dental experience is required. You need to read a treatment plan, speak to insurance benefits, and understand clinical sequencing well enough to answer a patient's questions with confidence. Comfortable with money. You talk about fees, financing, and patient portions every day. This cannot be something you soften out of discomfort. A closer who feels like a trusted advisor. You ask for the decision directly. You assume yes and offer a choice. You do not wait for the patient to bring it up — and you do it in a way that feels caring, not pushy. Accountable to a number. You do not deflect when case acceptance drops. You look at what happened and adjust. This is not a role for someone who prefers not to be measured. A builder. You have opinions about what great case presentation looks like and you want a practice that will actually listen to them. You are not looking for a script to follow — you are looking for a place where your instincts are valued. How to Apply Send your resume to with a short note answering this: Tell us about a patient who initially said no to treatment you believed in — and what you did next. What was the outcome? We want to see how you think about a no. That tells us more than any resume. We read every response personally. Applications without a note will not be reviewed. ■ Please do not apply if you do not have dental front office experience, are not comfortable being measured by case acceptance, or are looking for a role where the systems are already built and you just need to run them. This role is for someone who wants to help build what's next.
