Resident Care Coordinator (RCC)

Mon- Fri 6a-2p About the

Role:

As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position includes staff scheduling, new hire training, supervision of caregivers and medication administration, as well as direct resident care when needed. You'll serve as a key liaison between residents, staff, and external healthcare providers to help maintain a high standard of care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain weekly staff schedules Train and orient new employees Supervise caregivers and monitor resident care delivery Oversee and support medication administration and documentation processes Review and document communication logs, MARs, new orders, and alert charting Coordinate with outside agencies and medical providers regarding resident care Review and respond to incident reports and LPN audits to ensure compliance Maintain organization and cleanliness of medication storage areas Participate in service plan reviews and update documentation as needed Assist residents with meals, medication administration, and direct care as needed
