Job Description

Job Summary Our high quality, dental practice is looking for a friendly, organized, and highly dependable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This role is the first impression of our practice, so we are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping schedules running smoothly. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality dental care in a professional and welcoming environment, and we are looking for someone who shares those same values. Key Responsibilities This position is responsible for insurance verification, follow-up with patients needs and scheduling, payment posting, and patient communication regarding benefits and treatment. Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments Confirm same-day and next-day appointments not confirmed through our automated system Answer incoming phone calls and monitor/respond to patient text messages Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area Communicate patient arrivals with the clinical team and assist with patient flow Run and monitor the medical history update system to ensure patient information is completed and transmitted correctly Collect and review patient paperwork to ensure forms are completed when necessary Assist with checkout procedures and collection of patient coinsurance Help maintain a full hygiene and doctor schedule and filling any openings Verify and document patient insurance benefits prior to appointments Accurately prepare and submit insurance claims in a timely manner while working along side our billing team Follow up on outstanding, denied, or delayed claims Send Billing statements to patients on a daily/monthly basis Assist with pre-authorizations, appeals, and coordination of benefits Communicate clearly with patients regarding coverage, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs Maintain accurate and organized insurance records Collaborate with Office Manager, Doctor, and Billing team to ensure seamless billing processes Ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations Requirements Previous dental office experience required Knowledge of dental insurance verification Experience with Dentrix Practice Management software Strong communication and patient service skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy office environment Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude Reliable and punctual
Schedule In Office Needs:
Monday and Thursday:
8:00-5:00pm
Friday:
8:30-5:00pm No weekends
Work Location:
In Person Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 30.0 per week
