Sweet Smiles Family Dentistry is seeking a personable, ambitious Dental Treatment Coordinator to manage patient care coordination, case presentation, and scheduling. This role is ideal for an organized, goal-driven professional with a strong customer service background who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. About the Role As Treatment Coordinator, you'll be the key link between our clinical team and patients — guiding them from diagnosis through treatment acceptance and financial arrangements, while keeping the schedule running efficiently and productively. Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of dental front office and treatment coordination experience Strong knowledge of patient flow and productive scheduling Experience with billing, collections, and dental insurance Proven ability to present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients Familiarity with dental practice management software Strong computer literacy Strong project management and multitasking abilities Key Responsibilities Present treatment plans clearly and confidently, helping patients understand options and next steps Discuss and finalize financial arrangements in partnership with the dentist and dental assistants Maintain an efficient, productive schedule; track and follow up on unscheduled treatment Communicate proactively with patients regarding upcoming appointments Support marketing and referral efforts within the practice Handle billing, collections, and insurance verification/claims as needed Serve as a liaison between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth handoffs and continuity of care Ideal Candidate Tactful, diplomatic communicator — both verbal and written Comfortable managing a busy, high-volume patient caseload Independent self-starter who exercises sound judgment in sensitive, confidential situations Skilled at juggling multiple priorities without sacrificing quality Able to navigate conflict or feedback objectively and professionally
