Job Description

We're looking for an exceptional dental office administrator to be the welcoming face and organizational team leader of our front office. If you're a motivated, detail-oriented professional that enjoys building strong relationships with both patients and teammates, we'd love to meet you!
What We're Looking For:
Previous dental office experience is required Strong knowledge of dental insurance (highly preferred) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Outstanding communication and people skills - you are the first person a patient will interact with and will set the tone for their entire experience. High emotional intelligence with the ability to compassionately navigate difficult financial conversations and anxious patients with empathy and confidence Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software Reliable, dependable, and committed to following through on every detail A positive, supportive team player
What You'll Do:
You will be the lead for all front office operations. While there are other clerical staff, ultimately you will be in change of making sure everything is running accurately and efficiently. Duties include but are not limited to answering phone calls, greeting patient, scheduling, insurance verification and payments, insurance treatment plans and calculations, keeping the schedule booked and operating smoothly, recall calls and notifications, collections, managing relationships with our various dental vendors, etc. You will work closely with the clinical team to ensure outstanding patient care and smooth daily operations. Therefore, clear communication and a working knowledge of dental terminology and procedures will be needed. Contribute to a positive, collaborative office culture where you take ideas and/or concerns and work at bettering systems to better serve our team and patients. Cleaning duties are included in the position. It will be important that areas are kept tidy through the day. Interested? Here are the perks. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5 so expected arrival is around 7:30am, departure between 5 and 5:30pm. Therefore, most weeks you will work closer to 36 hours. Rare Fridays will be requested with ample notice. Benefits include PTO, holidays, sick time, QSHERA (similar to an FSA), some in house benefits, and retirement.
