Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving the overall quality of life for diverse patient populations. Your expertise in clinical assessment, manual therapy, and patient care will drive positive outcomes and foster a supportive healing environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical assessments, ensuring alignment with patient goals and medical directives Perform therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve function Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions while adhering to clinical documentation standards Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care and discharge planning Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR), including progress notes, treatment logs, and clinical assessment documentation Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies to promote ongoing recovery outside of therapy sessions Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols related to physiotherapy practices across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, skilled nursing facilities, or home health visits Experience Prior experience in physical therapy treatment implementation with outpatient settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice Skilled in using medical equipment operation for therapeutic purposes while maintaining safety standards Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and caregivers to foster understanding and engagement in care plans Experience working with diverse populations such as elderly patients in skilled nursing facilities or children in pediatric clinics is advantageous Familiarity with clinical documentation standards for medical documentation and electronic health records management is essential Inpatient experience or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus; outpatient or clinic experience is highly valued Join us if you are passionate about making a meaningful difference through skilled physical therapy interventions!
