Description Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist - Hybrid The Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist (Sr. CIS ) serves as an expert clinical informatics resource and leader in promoting the integration and optimization of information technology to improve clinical outcomes and practice. The Sr. CIS leads clinical-focused informatics initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and clinical stakeholders across the care continuum. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, or related field Or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Education, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a clinical discipline such as Nursing, or healthcare field. Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manger's discretion) upon hire. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
