Job Summary:

We are supporting a company seeking a detail-oriented professional to help keep chemistry laboratory operations running smoothly. This role focuses on lab support, equipment readiness, supply coordination, housekeeping, and timely response to day-to-day requests that help the team stay productive.

Responsibilities:

Perform periodic cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment. Support daily laboratory operations by cleaning glassware, autoclaving laboratory supplies, and maintaining laboratory housekeeping. Prepare chemical solutions and media, maintain laboratory reagents and supplies, and coordinate disposal of glass, biohazard, chemical, and radiochemical waste. Record data, perform basic mathematical computations, review temperature monitoring charts, and assist with special projects as assigned.

Required:

Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 2 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or an associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Customer service skills, knowledge of lab operations, and computer skills. Ability to follow all applicable SOPs and procedures; phone screen and on-site interview with the hiring manager and two other DSTS leaders are part of the interview process.
