• Job Details:

• + Provides general laboratory support to the DSTS chemistry laboratories.
• Responsibilities include:
• + Performs periodic cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.

+ Performs general laboratory support functions, such as cleaning glassware, autoclaving laboratory supplies, and laboratory housekeeping. + Prepares various chemical solutions and media. + Maintains stocks of laboratory reagents and supplies. + Coordinates disposal of glass, biohazard, chemical, and radiochemical laboratory waste. + Records data and performs basic mathematical computations. + Reviews temperature monitoring charts. + May assist with special projects as assigned. + Follows all applicable SOPs and procedures.

• Skills:

• + Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Basic Qualifications:

• + Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience OR Associates degree and 8 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
