Overview We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Optical Lab Manager to oversee daily operations in our optical laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of optical lens processing and optical laboratory procedures. Must have a commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Be familiar with all equipment for a high volume 1 hour full service lab. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence and maintain compliance with industry standards. Duties Manage daily optical lab operations and workflow. Supervise, train, and support lab technicians. Oversee lens edging, mounting, finishing, and quality control. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of orders. Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and supplies. Troubleshoot production issues and maintain quality standards. Skills Previous optical lab experience required. Management or supervisory experience required. Knowledge of optical equipment, lens materials, and prescription specifications. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
