Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Laboratory Supervisor for a testing client of ours in the Lime Spring, IA area. Below are general responsibilities.

• Responsible for a wide range of operational tasks and bench testing areas of the lab including but not limited to:○

Operational:

§ Managing audits§ Managing inventory§ Scheduling & timekeeping for team of technicians (1)§ Interfacing or necessary troubleshooting with the customerAssist on the bench with sample registration & processing, PCR, plating, media, lab organization, etc., to ensure testing & results are hitting deadlines of the client.

Salary for this position is between $60,000-$64,000 and is dependent on experience level. Skills and Requirements

• HS diploma or BS degree in a relative science field.
• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory setting
• Exposure to lab operations & procedures such as managing laboratory inventory, schedule workflow, organization, vendor management, lead lab personnel, etc.
• Interpersonal skills to be able to interface with the customer.
• People leadership or supervisory experience in a lab environment.
• Experience in a food testing laboratory.
