GLSD is seeking to fill the following positions: Monitoring Manager, Candidate would serve as the Laboratory Director/ Supervisor for the Monitoring Department. The chosen candidate will direct the daily operations of the monitoring department, including the state certified laboratory and industrial pre-treatment program. A minimum of a bachelors degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science, or closely related field with at least 30 college credits of chemistry required. Salary is commensurate with experience, skill, and licensure. Laboratory Technician II �?? hourly wage $29.37 - $37.37 �?? Candidates shall possess a minimum of an associates degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field. BachelorS degree is preferred. Understanding of wastewater monitoring, testing procedures, sampling, safety procedures, and handling and preservation of samples required. Direct experience with environmental sampling including wastewater preferred. All applicants must be able to pass a background check and a physical.
