Full Job Description Overview:

Responsibilities:
Provides supervisory support for Lead Lab Assistant and Lab Assistants at off site drawing facilities. Assures adequate training of staff and staffing levels. Communicates with lab supervisors and doctors' offices. Develops and maintains Outpatient Phlebotomy Policies and Procedures. Oversees inventory control at all off sites. Coordinates and develops lab assistants. Provides tools and training for lab assistants. Assists supervisor with general management functions.
Functional Cooperation and Teamwork Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or equivalent GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or are-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. Experience Minimum of one year clerical experience required in a medical/patient care setting. Experience using Hospital and Laboratory Information Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel required. Experience in multiple technical disciplines desirable. Supervisory experience desirable. Customer Service experience desirable. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Compensation/Benefits $19.56-$31.34/hr depending on previous work experience.
