Job Description

Job Summary Advantage Sleep Centers is seeking a dedicated Polysomnographic Technologist to perform overnight sleep studies under the direct supervision of our Clinical Manager and Medical Director. As a Sleep Technologist, you will educate and prepare patients for testing, monitor data, ensure accurate data collection, and maintain patient safety and comfort. This role follows strict clinical and accreditation standards to help diagnose and treat patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities:

Patient Preparation & Care Explain testing procedures clearly to patients and answer questions. Apply recording and monitoring electrodes and sensors. Manage room conditions (lighting, noise, temperature) to optimize sleep. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the testing process. Documentation & Lab Operations Provide detailed, accurate documentation throughout the night. Complete post-study procedures, data validation, and documentation reviews. Follow infection control procedures and equipment safety protocols. Adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:
Licensure & Certification RPSGT:

Currently Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential in good standing.

Cardiovascular:

Current BLS/CPR certification.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to maintain required continuing education credits (CEUs) for BRPT. Ability to work overnight shifts consistently in a clinical setting. Physical Requirements Extended periods of standing, walking, and monitoring patient screens. Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed. Sustained visual attention to monitoring systems during overnight shifts.

Pay:

From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
