Prairie Band Construction, a Native American tribally owned contractor, seeks a Medical Lab Technologist to support worker health across construction and infrastructure projects. In this on-site role, you'll perform clinical testing, process specimens, and operate lab analyzers to deliver accurate, timely results for occupational and field health programs. You'll manage quality control, maintain CLIA-compliant records, and uphold strict safety standards. Collaborating with project and safety teams, you'll help protect employee health while contributing to meaningful tribal, federal, and commercial work. Responsibilities Perform hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology testing for field and occupational health needs Collect, label, and process specimens following strict chain-of-custody and safety protocols Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers and laboratory equipment Perform and document quality control, proficiency testing, and instrument troubleshooting Review and validate test results, investigating and resolving discrepancies Document all work in the laboratory information system and prepare clear reports for providers and project teams Maintain compliance with CLIA and relevant regulatory and safety standards Collaborate with safety, medical, and project teams to support worker health monitoring on construction projects Manage lab inventory, ordering, and storage of reagents and supplies Contribute to continuous improvement of lab procedures, workflows, and safety practices Required Skills Clinical laboratory testing Specimen collection and handling Operation of lab analyzers Quality control procedures
