To ensure timely, accurate, and evidence informed resources to the community.
Job Description:
  • Responsible for educating and empowering the community to make informed decisions regarding substance use prevention
  • Create and implement educational programs focused on prevention topics
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and trainings for students, parents, educators, and community members
  • Adapt programs based on the specific needs of schools, community groups, or target populations
  • Provide evidence-based programs to schools and the community
  • Support project coordination by tracking deadlines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with team members and the community on education initiatives and events
  • Prepare and organize materials for health promotion events in the community
  • Respond to inquiries from community members and stakeholders with clarity and courtesy
  • Assist in data entry and report generation as needed
  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing updates and providing input on ongoing projects
  • Occasionally attend training and professional development opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and its objectives
Required Skills:
  • Must possess a friendly and engaging demeanor that enjoys meeting new people and forming new relationships
  • A self-starter, able to work on a team and recognize the value of teamwork
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience directing referral inquiries and providing customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Strong communication and public speaking skills to effectively engage with team members both on video and in-person
Requirements:
35 hours with a need to be flexible and work occasional nights and/or weekend days. Must have a valid driver's license as this position requires some local travel
Pay:
$38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
