Duties Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. Prepare specimens for examination and ensure proper labeling and documentation. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and calibrated as needed. Follow established protocols for testing procedures to ensure accurate results. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and contribute to patient care decisions. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory environment. Stay updated on advancements in medical technology and laboratory practices. Experience A degree or certification in Medical Technology or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
