Sonoran Dental Studio is a new, growing, family-owned dental practice in Buckeye, Arizona, seeking a dependable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help provide high-quality dental care while creating a warm, professional, and exceptional patient experience.

Pay:

Starting at $20 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

3-4 days per week We are looking for someone who is positive, organized, adaptable, and willing to be an active member of a small private-practice team. Clinical skills are important, but attitude, communication, reliability, and teamwork are equally important to us.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting the dentist chairside during restorative, crown and bridge, surgical, and other procedures Recording patient medical and dental histories and maintaining accurate digital records Preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and equipment according to infection-control protocols Taking dental radiographs as needed Performing coronal polishing within the scope of certification Preparing, stocking, and maintaining clean and organized treatment rooms Taking impressions and digital scans as directed Providing patient education and post-treatment instructions Documenting treatment and assisting with accurate clinical charting Conducting routine maintenance on dental equipment Helping maintain efficient patient flow and a smooth schedule Supporting front-office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient inquiries Working collaboratively with the dentist, hygienist, front office, and other team members Helping wherever needed to support the practice and patient experience

Qualifications:

Dental assisting experience preferred Current Arizona dental radiography certification required Current coronal polishing certification required Current CPR/BLS certification Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional, service-oriented demeanor Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Willingness to receive direction, adapt, and contribute to a growing practice
