We are looking for a people person who has a great attitude and enjoys being a dental assistant, working side by side with the doctor to deliver high-quality dental services for our patients. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management policies. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) using Dentrix. Manage patient records and medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Provide chairside assistance by managing dental instruments, materials, and supplies during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique. Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Support patient management by answering questions, scheduling appointments and guiding patients through pre- and post-treatment instructions. Requirements Minumum 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, and prosthodontics. Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix. Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy relevant to dental procedures. Certification in dental radiography. Experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention protocols, and aseptic technique to maintain clinical confidentiality policies. Ability to operate dental equipment including iTero scanners confidently. Commitment to healthcare infection prevention and control practices; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Pay:
$22.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
