Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures (RDA
• permitted table of duties)
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take digital dental X-rays (CA license required)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records (vital signs etc)
• Make chart notes during exam and treatment
• Open Dental experience is helpful but not required (will train)
• Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant
• Proficiency in

OSHA & HIPAA

regulations and patient confidentiality

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
• Experience with dental coding and billing procedures is helpful but not required
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to take quality digital dental

X-rays Skills:

• 4 handed dentistry
• iTero scanning is helpful but not required will train
• Patient communication
• setting patients at ease during treatment
• Team player with strong communication skills is a must (ability to speak Spanish is a plus!
