## Job Summary New Smile Orthodontics is seeking a rockstar Orthodontic Assistant to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing orthodontic care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. ## Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures,
• archwire changes,bonding, banding, Itero digital scanning, working with clear aligners
• Polishing and cleaning teeth after braces removal
• Perform X-Rays and medical imaging as required
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure infection control protocols are followed
• Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately
• Support with dental receptionist duties when needed
• Provide assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques ## Requirements
• Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
• Proficiency in X-Ray procedures and medical imaging techniques
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
