This position is intended for an RDA who takes pride in excellent clinical work, anticipates the doctor's needs, keeps treatment running efficiently, and communicates with patients in a professional and reassuring manner. We have served the local community since 1997 and maintain a five-star Google rating. Our offices are conveniently located in downtown Mountain View and near the Caltrain station in Palo Alto. Responsibilities Assist doctors with restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and general dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and laboratory cases Take accurate digital X-rays and clinical photographs Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Support efficient patient flow and keep doctors on schedule Review post-treatment instructions with patients Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix Monitor supplies and ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and team members Required Qualifications Active California RDA license At least four years of recent dental-assisting experience Strong chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry skills Current required certifications Excellent infection-control and sterilization practices Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and punctual Strong patient communication and teamwork skills Ability to work confidently in a busy, multi-provider practice Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a strong advantage: Dentrix CEREC iTero 3Shape scanners CBCT imaging Digital impressions Implant or surgical procedures Temporary crowns and other permitted RDA duties Benefits Eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that may include: Health insurance Paid vacation 401(k) Profit-sharing plan Dental benefits Stable, long-term employment Modern dental technology and an experienced clinical team We value professionalism, accountability, excellent patient care, and teamwork.
