Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.

Responsibilities:

4 days/wk x-ray license RDA license Some front desk cross training

Prepare patients for dental work
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
Take and develop dental x-rays
Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer

Skills:

Proficient in taking vital signs
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Competent in X-Ray and medical imaging procedures
Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
Knowledge of endodontic procedures This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
