Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you will support dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery settings. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient care Provide patient management support by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to healthcare infection prevention standards and aseptic techniques Experience 1 Year minimum. Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred . Proficiency with dental software such as Open dental is ideal but not mandatory Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy related to oral health Hands-on experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and dental instrument processing Familiarity with dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies Excellent communication skills suitable for working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing outstanding dental care while advancing your professional skills in a supportive environment.
