Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) - Hometown Family Dentistry | Crestview, FL Hometown Family Dentistry is looking for a full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. We are an established dental practice with a strong focus on quality patient care and creating a comfortable experience for the people we serve. We're looking for an experienced EFDA who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with patients and wants to be part of a dependable, close-knit clinical team. You'll help provide efficient, high-quality care while making sure our patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting the doctor during a variety of dental procedures Performing expanded functions within your certification and scope Taking digital X-rays Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining an organized clinical environment Providing patients with instructions regarding treatment and post-operative care Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Following sterilization and infection control protocols Supporting the clinical team throughout the day Helping maintain an efficient and positive patient experience What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: A current EFDA Experienced in dental assisting Confident with their clinical skills Dependable, organized and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating with patients and the dental team Comfortable working independently while also being a team player Committed to providing quality patient care Looking for a long-term opportunity in a private practice setting About Hometown Family Dentistry and Operation Dental Hometown Family Dentistry is an established practice in Crestview that is committed to providing quality dental care while building lasting relationships with our patients.
