Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant with hands-on experience in clinical procedures and patient care! This vital role combines technical expertise with compassionate service, ensuring our patients receive top-quality dental treatment in a welcoming environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create positive experiences for every patient while advancing your career in general and specialized dentistry. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for procedures. Assist dentists chairside during various treatments including oral surgery, sedatiopn, crown temps, endodontics, prosthodontics, and providing support with dental instruments and materials. Take dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health. Follow strict infection prevention management procedures including aseptic techniques, sterilization of dental instruments, and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting with proficiency in dental assisting and clinical procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix. Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques across general dentistry specialties including oral surgery and endodontics. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.

Pay:
