Springs Family Dentistry is looking for an energetic, dependable, and positive Dental Assistant to join our team in Longwood. We are an established, private fee-for-service practice with a strong focus on relationship-based care . About the Position Our Dental Assistants work closely with the doctor and the rest of the team to provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing treatment rooms and assisting with dental procedures Taking digital radiographs and digital scans Fabricating temporary crowns Maintaining accurate patient records Following infection-control and sterilization protocols Educating patients regarding treatment, oral hygiene, and post-operative care Helping the clinical day run efficiently Supporting other team members when needed Dental assisting experience and Expanded Functions certification are preferred; however, we are willing to train the right person . Character, work ethic, dependability, and the ability to connect with patients and teammates are equally important to us.
Schedule & Compensation Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch, plus one 3-hour Friday administrative shift approximately every six weeks.
Starting pay:
$23/hour, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.
