Responsibilities:

Assist doctor with back office clinical procedures, turn over exam rooms and perform sterilization of instruments
Must be Bilingual; CPR/BLS certification required
Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for dental procedures
Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
Coordinate with dentist to ensure smooth patient flow
Provide information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
Requirements:
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental insurance is required
Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental for scheduling and record keeping
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and financial transactions
