Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist doctor with back office clinical procedures, turn over exam rooms and perform sterilization of instruments
  • Must be Bilingual; CPR/BLS certification required
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for dental procedures
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Coordinate with dentist to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Provide information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental insurance is required
  • Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental for scheduling and record keeping
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and financial transactions
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
