Job Description

Dr. Brianna Ganson is seeking a new team member to join Happy Teeth Dentistry. The dental assistant needs to be fun, upbeat, and professional. He or she must feel comfortable and enjoy working with kids of all ages. We are looking for someone friendly, energetic, and a team player with exceptional customer service skills. The dental assistant's responsibilities during procedures, cleanings, and surgeries include: Preparing patients: Making patients feel comfortable, calming them, and seating them. They may also obtain dental records and vital signs.
Preparing the room:
Following protocols and procedures to prepare the room for the patient. Prophy, chart, and administer fluoride to patients.
Stocking materials:
Ordering supplies as needed, organizing invoices, and keeping track of what is needed.
Preparing instruments and equipment:
Sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, and positioning them for Dr. Ganson. Assisting Dr.
Ganson:
Taking X-rays, passing instruments to Dr. Ganson, preparing materials, suctioning, and responding to emergencies.
Maintaining patient records:
Recording and updating patient medical histories, treatment plans, and other relevant information. Chart treatment details during procedures, such as the teeth involved, materials used, and follow-up timeline.
Educating patients:
Providing information to patients and parents, and educating patients about oral hygiene and other topics.
Infection control:
