Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary dental instruments, materials, and equipment for endodontic procedures, including 3D scanners and dental x-ray devices. Assist the endodontist during procedures by handing instruments, managing suction, and ensuring optimal visibility using medical imaging tools. Operate dental equipment such as dental sterilization units, X-ray machines, and digital imaging systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Ensure strict infection prevention management through aseptic technique, sterilization procedures, and proper instrument processing. Manage patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly, and providing comfort throughout treatment sessions. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as PBS Endo or Dentrix for managing patient records efficiently. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures related to endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and general dentistry. Experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection control standards, and healthcare infection prevention practices. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices with precision. Excellent chairside assisting skills with a focus on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with the dental team and provide exceptional patient care while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
