Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. In this energetic position, you will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Assist dentists during various procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support and managing dental instruments efficiently Take dental x-rays and PANO images using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety protocols Manage patient records accurately using patient management software, Dentrix Ascend, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for clinical confidentiality policies Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and explain dental terminology clearly to enhance their understanding of procedures Maintain dental equipment, including cleaning, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all tools meet infection control standards for general dentistry procedures Skills Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with dental x-ray techniques, oral surgery assistance, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Familiarity with dental equipment operation, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention management practices Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while maintaining strict aseptic technique standards Excellent patient management skills to provide compassionate care and support patient comfort throughout visits Knowledge of healthcare infection control protocols including medical imaging safety measures and clinical confidentiality policies This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare while making a positive impact on patients' lives. Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
