In this energetic role, you will support dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. Duties Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to dental x-ray safety protocols Manage patient records using electronic medical records Collect vital signs and medical history information to ensure comprehensive patient care in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and treatment plans using dental terminology that is clear and reassuring Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following infection control standards and dental sterilization procedures Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow with patient management software, and assisting the dental receptionist when needed Skills Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with dental X-rays Expertise in chairside assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry and oral surgery support Familiarity with infection prevention protocols including sterilization procedures and healthcare infection control standards Ability to perform dental instrument sterilization Ability to work collaboratively within a team that values high-quality patient care and clinical excellence Join us in making a difference through compassionate care, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental practice!
