We are seeking a dental assistant/front desk team member for Mon/Tues(8am-5pm) and Wed/Thurs(7am-2pm). Previous experience not required. Key qualities are an eagerness to learn new skills, working hard as a team, and providing great customer service to our patients. Must be computer literate and open to learning dental assistant and front desk workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Chairside assisting for the doctor
• Check patients in and out
• Take x-rays and intraoral photographs (x-ray certification desired or obtain upon hire)
• Instrument and room disinfecting and sterilization
• Maintain room supply levels
• Appointment scheduling
• Answering phone calls and patient questions
• Assisting patients with financial questions
• Verifying dental insurance and benefits
• Entering payments into our dental software and following up on statements About us: Positive Family Dental is a fast-paced, two doctor, family dental practice in Grand Ledge.

Compensation:

• $13-$18/hour based on experience (salary increase beyond this in conjunction with gaining proficiency with skills)
• 2 weeks PTO
