Job Description

Dental/Orthodontic Assistant - Full Time Position TDR Specialists in Orthodontics Rochester Hills Our orthodontic practice is looking for a motivated person to join our team as an orthodontic clinician. We are a well-established orthodontic practice with over 30 years of service in the Metro-Detroit area that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and service to our patients. If you want to be a part of a friendly, fun, and fast paced environment we would like to speak with you!
Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming and seating patients in the clinic
  • Setting up clinical chairs for orthodontic procedures
  • Taking orthodontic records (photos, radiographs, and intra-oral scans) under the supervision of the Orthodontist
  • Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, (such as aligners, expanders, and retainers under supervision of the Orthodontist
  • Accurately and thoroughly scribing treatment notes
  • Providing patient education
  • Ordering retainers and appliances from labs
  • Sterilization
  • Organizing and stocking materials and equipment
