Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
  • Take and develop dental x-rays under the direction of the dentist
  • Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions
  • Educate patients on post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary
  • Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling administrative tasks
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant required
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
  • Proficiency in using dental software programs (e.g., Eaglesoft) for patient management
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
  • Ability to take vital signs accurately We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
