BILINGUAL SPANISH -ENGLISH
is plus. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and setting up necessary supplies in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging equipment while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical records in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Epic, and verifying patient information for accuracy. Monitor vital signs and assist with patient management to ensure a safe clinical environment aligned with healthcare infection prevention standards. Process dental instruments efficiently following sterilization procedures and ensure all dental equipment is functioning properly. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient management software, and coordinating with the dental reception team to optimize clinic operations. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for medical documentation and records management. Experience with dental x-ray techniques, medical imaging technology including 3D scanners, and dental instrument processing. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Ability to perform chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique and healthcare infection prevention standards. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with the dental team and providing compassionate patient care.
