Job Description

Overview Join our m team as a Dental Assistant and become a part of delivering quality oral healthcare! You will support dentists in providing top-quality patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients. Your assistance in dental procedures, patient management, and infection control will help us uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring instruments are ready for use in accordance with infection prevention management. Take and develop dental images while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety protocols. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for clinical confidentiality policies. Support patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly using dental terminology, and addressing patient questions to foster comfort and trust. Maintain clinical cleanliness by processing dental instruments efficiently and following infection control standards aligned with healthcare infection prevention expertise. Collaborate s with the dental team through four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and enhance patient experience. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is highly desirable. Understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health care. Certification in dental x-ray or radiography. Ability to perform chairside assisting with hand-eye coordination and dexterity while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Knowledge of dental equipment operation, sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and OSHA techniques. Excellent communication skills to support patient management and collaborate effectively within the healthcare team. Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
