Job Description

NC Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced, hands-on Dental Clinical Lead to guide our clinical team and support the delivery of exceptional, efficient, and compassionate pediatric dental care. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident dental professional who enjoys mentoring others, improving clinical systems, and leading by example in a fast-paced practice. About the Role As Dental Clinical Lead, you will oversee day-to-day clinical workflow, coach and support dental assistants and other clinical team members, and help maintain the highest standards of safety, organization, and patient experience. You will work closely with the dentist and practice leadership to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and every patient receives attentive, respectful care. What We're Looking For Minimum of five years of dental clinical or dental assisting experience , including previous leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Advanced clinical skill set required , with demonstrated proficiency in complex chairside procedures, clinical troubleshooting, treatment preparation, and supporting providers during specialized care. Strong knowledge of chairside procedures, sterilization, infection control, and clinical operations. Current certifications and credentials required by applicable state law and the position's clinical duties. Proven ability to coach team members, resolve day-to-day challenges, and maintain high standards. Excellent communication, organization, and patient-service skills. A calm, proactive approach and the ability to prioritize effectively in a busy environment. Experience in sedation dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or orthodontics is a plus.
