We are a high-quality private General Dental practice in Jersey City looking for an energetic and reliable Dental Assistant . We are a PPO/Fee-For-Service office (no HMOs or Medicaid), which allows us to focus on patient care rather than rushing through appointments. Our team is fun, hard-working, and patient-centered. We believe in "cross-training" and helping each other out to make the day run smoothly. We are looking for someone who fits this culture—a team player who isn't afraid to jump in and help where needed.

Your Role:

You will work alongside the doctor to ensure our patients receive top-tier care and feel comfortable in the chair.

Clinical Duties:

Chairside assisting (4-handed dentistry) with fillings/root canals/extractions/implants/bonegrafts/cosmetic dentistry/invisilign, taking digital x-rays, CT scans, Panorexs and managing sterilization/infection control.

Patient Care:

Preparing treatment rooms, explaining post-op instructions, and taking impressions, scanning for nightguards/crowns/ invisilign.

Teamwork:

As a cross-trained office, you may occasionally assist with light front desk duties (answering phones/scheduling) or helping flow where needed.

BONUS:

Attitude Trumps Experience:

We are happy to train skills, but we can't train a positive attitude. We need someone reliable, eager to learn, and kind.

X-Ray License:

Valid NJ Dental Radiography license is preferred.

Language:

Spanish speaking is a plus , but not a requirement. Schedule (Full-Time or Part-Time): We are flexible for the right candidate.

Our office hours are:

Mon-Wed:

10:00 AM•6:00

PM Thursday:

12:00 PM•8:00

PM Saturday:

8:00 AM•2:00 PM ( 2-3 sat/month)
