This dental office is modern and new, as it opened June 2024! We are looking for a full time dental assistant to help continue or standard of an excellent working environment and patient centric environment. This office boasts state of the art technology with brand new amenities and equipment, including a large staff lounge. The office is located on a very desirable street in the heart of Park Ridge, NJ. There are 2 general dentists, and we perform all procedures to include: Endodontics (including molar) dental implants 3d CBCT scans Trios intraoral scanning Crown/Bridge Veneers Dental fillings Dental cleanings Clear aligner therapy
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
  • Perform dental charting and update medical documentation
  • Provide support to the front office with tasks such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Dentrix dental software system
  • Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing procedures
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay:
$24.00
  • $30.
00 per hour
