They are responsible for facilitating routine procedures and help the dentist do their work. This is an
ENDODONTIC OFFICE.
Dr. Ian Langer has provided Union County with excellent service to its patients since 1986. We are looking for applicants with positive attitude and a customer service outlook to join our team. As a small practice, we pride ourselves on our familiarity and friendliness with our patients, and providing the best possible service to them. Primary Job Duties
  • Dental Assistants will support patient care by preparing equipment and providing assistance during dental procedures, such as suction, X-ray, and passing requested materials.
  • Assist patients by welcoming them, taking their temperature, and guiding them to their seat
  • Clearly communicate with patients to provide instructions prior to, and after their visit.
  • Clean operatory rooms after the patient, sterilize equipment, and prepare the room for the next patient.
  • Ensure patient treatment rooms are continuously stocked with proper equipment.
  • Record and file patient records, as well as other clerical functions such as scheduling appointments
  • Manage reception area and front-desk duties as needed.
  • Contact patient's primary dentist to request or send confidential patient records, X-rays, or other documents.
  • Maintain office cleanliness when possible Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Must have High School Diploma
  • Current CPR certification is required
  • X-ray certification is required
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must have close attention to detail
  • Must be organized and reliable
  • COVID Vaccine and boosters preferred
