Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures. Assist doctor efficiently during restorative, surgical, and general dental procedures. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout treatment. Assist with dental X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Take 3D Scans and assist with other clinical procedures as needed. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Perform proper sterilization and infection-control procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and the clinical area. Set up and break down operatories between patients. Anticipate the dentist's needs during procedures and maintain an efficient clinical flow. Communicate with patients before, during, and after treatment in a warm and professional manner. Provide patients with appropriate post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Follow all practice protocols, OSHA guidelines, and infection-control standards. Work collaboratively with the entire clinical team to provide exceptional patient care. Help maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming environment for both patients and coworkers. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience is required 2 years minimum. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who already has experience working in a dental practice and understands the responsibilities and expectations of a clinical dental assistant.

Preferred qualifications include:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant. Experience with chairside assisting. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures. Experience taking dental X-rays and radiology license required in the state of NJ. Experience with impressions and other dental procedures. Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control protocols. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist and clinical team. Strong commitment to patient comfort and safety.
