We are growing and looking for an outstanding EFDA who is passionate about dentistry, enjoys helping people, and wants to be part of a supportive team that feels like family. Our practice offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team providing comprehensive dentistry, including dental implants, full-arch restorations, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and advanced digital technology. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery treatments, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Perform expanded functions such as placing fillings, applying sealants, and taking preliminary impressions under dentist supervision. Operate and manage dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques. Take high-quality digital dental X-rays and CT scans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental radiography standards. Process and sterilize dental instruments following strict infection control protocols to ensure clinical safety and compliance with healthcare infection prevention policies. Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) in Open Dental, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and medical records management. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, managing patient anxiety, taking vital signs, and ensuring comfort throughout treatment sessions. Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient scheduling, manage patient management software, and facilitate effective communication between staff members. Maintain a thorough understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical procedures to support comprehensive patient treatment plans. Skills Proficiency with EMR system Open Dental or similar software Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Skilled in taking dental X-rays, including intraoral and extraoral imaging techniques using modern dental equipment. Familiarity with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic techniques to uphold safety standards. Ability to perform chairside assisting with competence in four-handed dentistry practices for seamless workflow. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and general dentistry procedures including oral surgery and endodontics. Experience operating advanced diagnostic tools such as 3D scanners for comprehensive treatment planning. Excellent patient management skills to foster trust and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of dental instrument processing protocols to ensure proper sterilization and readiness of clinical tools. Pay:
$35.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
