About the Position Sallisaw Dental Care is seeking an experienced, motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, positive, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. A minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience is required, with 3 or more years preferred. This is not an entry-level position. While we are primarily seeking a full-time team member, we are open to considering an exceptional candidate interested in a part-time schedule. Our office is a modern, technology-driven practice that offers a wide variety of procedures, making this an excellent opportunity for an assistant who enjoys learning, expanding their skills, and working with advanced technology.

Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include:

Chairside assisting during a wide variety of dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms before and after patient care Sterilizing instruments and maintaining OSHA and infection control standards Taking high-quality digital radiographs Performing intraoral scans for restorative, implant, and orthodontic procedures Assisting with implant placement and implant restorations Assisting with traditional braces and Invisalign treatment Assisting with endodontic and oral surgery procedures Fabricating and adjusting temporary restorations Providing exceptional patient education and support Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Working closely with doctors and team members to provide an outstanding patient experience Preferred Experience Experience with the following is highly preferred: Digital intraoral scanning (iTero, TRIOS, Medit, or similar) Traditional braces and Invisalign Implant procedures Denture bite adjustments and denture adjustments Open Dental practice management software (preferred but not required) Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience required 3 or more years of experience preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and professional appearance Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Willingness to continue learning and grow professionally What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Provides exceptional patient care Is dependable and punctual Takes pride in producing high-quality work Is comfortable with digital technology Learns new procedures quickly Works well with doctors and teammates Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Is willing to help wherever needed to support the team Benefits Competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour , with higher pay based on experience and qualifications Paid Time Off (PTO) (Full-Time) Paid Holidays (Full-Time) 401(k) retirement plan (Full-Time) Employee dental benefits Continuing education opportunities Opportunity to participate in an incentive-based bonus program that rewards individual and practice performance Modern, technology-driven practice Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth About Sallisaw Dental Care Sallisaw Dental Care is a modern, technology-driven two-doctor general dental practice located in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
