Overview Are you a detail-oriented, compassionate dental assistant who loves working with children and patients with special needs? Berks Kids Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a hands-on clinical role supporting the dental team and ensuring our young patients and their families feel comfortable and cared for at every visit. About Berks Kids Dentistry With over 25 years of combined experience, Dr. Kristin Gordos and Dr. Laura Snyder are honored to help children and their families build lifelong healthy habits in a warm, welcoming environment. As one of the few practices in the area focused solely on pediatric and special needs dentistry, we take pride in offering gentle, friendly, and high-quality care to every patient who walks through our doors. Dental Assistant As a Dental Assistant, you'll work alongside our dentists and team to create a positive, supportive, and efficient experience for every child. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organized, and committed to providing high-quality care in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients to create a comfortable, child-friendly atmosphere Assist dentists with pediatric dental procedures and behavior management Prepare, set up, and clean operatories for appointments Sterilize dental instruments and maintain clinical cleanliness standards Support hygienists and assist with front desk tasks as needed Follow all compliance, safety, and patient care procedures Other duties as assigned by doctors to support patient care Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistant X-ray certification required Dental assistant schooling or certification is a plus Passion for working with children and patients with special needs Excellent communication and people skills Highly organized with attention to detail Team-oriented with a positive, adaptable attitude High school diploma or equivalent required

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
