Dental Assistant - Part Time Palisades Dental -
American Fork, UT Schedule:
Monday-Wednesday 7:45-5:00
Compensation:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) About Us At Palisades Dental, we are more than just a dental practice-we are a dedicated family serving the American Fork, Highland, Lehi, and Pleasant Grove communities. We are looking for a dedicated, friendly Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team and help our patients smile more and stress less!
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support:
Efficiently assist dentists during a variety of general, cosmetic, pediatric, and emergency dental procedures.
PreparationSterilization:
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is set up and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Patient Care:
Greet patients warmly, make them feel comfortable in the chair, and clearly communicate post-operative and oral hygiene care instructions.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with managing patient records, charting, and scheduling follow-up appointments using patient management software.
Team Collaboration:
Maintain a clean, organized office environment and seamlessly collaborate with our tightly-knit team of dental professionals.
Qualifications Certification:
Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program.
Credential:
DANB certification is required.
Experience:
Minimum of Three (3) years of dental assisting experience.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Technical Aptitude:
Familiarity with standard dental office procedures, digital X-rays, and dental patient management software. Why Join Us?
